Perpetual Poppy Day. The reason why
Hawksley, Rozanne (1931-2021)
Mixed-media sculptural work comprising a dessicated bird skeleton and fabric poppies affixed to a rough crucifix-like wooden upright, to the top of which is pinned a bone fragment inscribed 'PAX / 200[7]', all enclosed within a fabric-lined wood box open at the front.
