Roman copper alloy Trumpet brooch
Copper alloy trumpet boorhc with lobed margin, plain bow and waist knob decorated with incised vertical lines. The bow terminated with two projecting foot mouldings. Similar trumpet brooches are known from Whitton (Jarret and Wrathmell 1981, p172-175, fig.70) and Usk (Manning 1993 p83-87, fig. 26).
