Trousers
Pair of floral drawstring trousers, part of a two piece scrubs set. Made from printed cotton furnishing fabric, machine sewn. Given by volunteers to Tŷ Doctor surgery, Nefyn, during the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Trousers made from printed sateen-woven fabric. The print is of pink roses against a black background. Deep pockets lined with same material at both sides of hip. All machine-stitched with zig-zag and straight stitches carried out in black and white thread. The 3.5cm wide turn-back at the waist forms a channel for a draw string: a narrow (1cm wide), stitched belt made from white cotton fabric has been drawn through small holes cut into the channel on the outer centre front of the trousers. Letter 'M' machine-embroidered in red thread onto white herringbone cotton tape and stitched to inner rear waist.
