Tureen, cream
Cream tureen, soft-paste porcelain, greenish paste with creamy brown translucency, wide spreading foot ring, oval body shaped into four lobes and with rounded sides, two short scroll handles; each side painted with an oval titled view in polychrome: 'Hafod', featuring Dologau bridge over the River Ystwyth running between wooded hills, and 'Hafod', featuring the River Ystwyth looking south from the site of the old Alpine Bridge towards Hafod Gardens, both framed with a blue line edged with gold and gilded sprays, the rim with gilded pendant leaves below a blue border with gilded dentil edge, gilded bands round the waist and foot, gilding on the handles.
