Seal impression: Personal seal
The knight, Sir Gilbert de Peche, on a caparisoned horse galloping to sinister, in armour of mail with surcoat, wearing a flat-topped helmet with visor closed. His sword is held aloft in his outstretched right hand, his shield (slung by a broad strap over the shoulders): a fess between two chevrons, PECHE. Beneath the horse, a wyvern contourny reguardant with expanded wings.
