Roman samian bowl, decorated
One panel has corner tassels (Hermet 1934, pl. 12, 58?) and a triple medallion containing a Cupid (O436A). The top part of the adjacent panel has a dog to left (02004). Mercator i used the ovolo (knorr 1919 taf. 57, 19) and dog. He also used this medallion, in partial impression, as a festoon. His usual triple medallion, which he rarely used, is slightly smaller.
