Incense burner
Incense burner, pale buff stoneware, standing on three amorphous feet of hand-formed, pinched clay, the body of a squat, globular form rising to a broad, vertical, cylindrical neck with flat, out-turned rim, two handles of scrolling form with a square lug projecting above the rim; the neck embellished on one side with a press-moulded figure of a seated Buddha, green glaze with splashes of copper oxide.
