Gower, film negative
Aerial view of Langland Bay, Gower. In the foreground is the Club Union Convalescent Home for coal miners. Built about 1856, as Llan-y-Llan, by the Crawshay family as a summer residence. It was extended in the late 19th century to become the Langland Bay Hotel. In 1922 it was sold to the Workingmen's Club and Institute Union for use a convalescent home for coal miners. Later it was renamed Langland Bay Manor and converted into apartments.
