Roman glass cylindrical bottle
Dull green fragment of side or base of cylindrical or prismatic bottle of early Roman (late I-II) type. The piece shows internal strain-crackscaused by faulty annealing, a rare phenomenon on Roman green glass (in contrast to Roman colourless, which often shows such strains). This Roman green glass was usually well annealed.
