Cooking-pot crane
One movement cooking pot crane, from Solva, 1800s. Heavy, plain vertical shaft and horizontal arm with scroll and twist decoration on diagonal brace.These were common in Wales from the 1600s until the 1950s. They allowed pots to be moved closer or further away from the fire.
