Milk jug
Milk jug, tin-glazed earthenware, standing on three short feet, bulbous body, lobed rim with upraised spout, twig-like handle which is a later replacement; decorated in high temperature colours with to the front of the body a landscape with two figures standing at a water trough, scattered floral sprays and sprigs to the rest of the body, around the upper body a border of a waving brown line with flashes of other colours and issuing further floral sprigs, a blue line around upper rim, the feet and handle picked out in blue.
