Wedding dress
Wedding dress made and worn by Miss Fanny Dack for her wedding at Blaina Church on 23 December 1899 when she married W. M. Jones. Dove grey corded silk with white satin trimmings. The bodice has a high neck and sleeves which are full at the top and tapering to wrist. Cream braid is laid as horizontal bands at the top of the sleeves. Lace at cuffs. Cream silk ruching on the front yoke. Ribbon of cream looped across with two diamanté buckles on either side. Skirt full at the back and straight at the front. Decorated with cream braid.
