Roman samian bowl, decorated
A hemispherical decorated bowl. The upper exterior is plain with a beaded rim. The decorated zone is bounded at the top by a band of ovolo. Good ware and glaze. Animals and shrubs. A series composed of dog r. (K., 1919, Pl. 57, 6 - MERCATO) and hare r. (cf. K., 1919, PL. 41, 43) over grass tufts, with shrubs with spiral terminals, repeated three times with minor variations.
