Roman pottery lamp
Two non-joining fragments, presumably from the same lamp, a volute lamp. Slightly raised, flat base. Discus: wing of an eagle, with raised, clenched claw. This figure type is very common throughout the Empire, occurring mainly on lamps of first century date, but it survives into the third century on Cypriote lamps.
