Tea bowl
Tea bowl, buff-coloured earthenware, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, rounded curving sides; covered all over apart from the foot-rim with a white slip, this then decorated with around the exterior sides a purple-brown ground against which are reserved three lobed panels painted with leaves and berries in brown and yellow, a further sprig of leaves and berries to the interior bottom of the bowl, a conventional leaf pattern border in dark brown around the interior lip-rim. The foot-rim and lip-rim chipped.
