Neolithic pottery vessel
Sherds from a soft friable, thin-walled vessel, with pitted fabric and generally abraded breaks. The voids in the fabric and the pits on the surfaces indicate organic inclusions. The fabric averages 5mm thick. The deocration is incised and comprises multiple horizontal and diagonal lines defining empty lozenges and/or elongated chevron panels.
