Girl's dress
Girl's dress of light green floral print cotton. Designed and made in 1957 by Margaret Tovey as a student in the College of Domestic Art, Cardiff. Round neck and collar. Short sleeves. Seam across chest. Self fabric ties sewn in at side seams at natural waist. Skirt and yoke decorated with red embroidery and red appliquéd tulips. Back fastenings with four mother of pearl buttons and button holes to waist. Matching knickers are elasticated at waist and legs. The Horrockses fabric was purchased at David Morgan Ltd, Cardiff.
