S.S. POLCEVERA ship loading/unloading patent fuel blocks. Mounted on card with 70.47I/7.1

The S.S. POLCEVERA (ex-CUSTODIAN) (9232 GT) was built 1900 by C. Connell & Co. of Glasgow. Owned by H.J. Giffin (Cardiff) from c.1923, prior to becoming a whaling vessel. In 1926 she was fitted with stern ramp and re-named N.T. NEILSEN-ALONSO.
