Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Plare, earthenware, standing on a rounded foot-rim with cushion-moulded sides and spreading rim, the rim lobed and beaded; transfer-printed in flow-blue with the 'Lazuli' continuous sheet pattern, extending across the whole of the upper side of the plate, consisting of undulating, irregular blue lines and areas of shaded blue to resemble marble or the veining on lapis lazuli, both the upper and lower sides of the plate covered with a pale washy blue glaze.
