Morris, Henry (Henry Morris, 1799-1880, at Swansea 1814-1826)
Plate, porcelain with off-white translucency, rounded foot ring, double-ogee-curved profile rising to shaped and moulded rim comprising four curly-bracket forms with raised dots and moulded single flower and scroll at each end and separated by moulded paired flowers; enamelled in the centre with a spray of fruit and flowers, plum enamelled ground on the rim, the edge of the well and rim and moulded details gilded.
