¾ Starboard bow view of S.S. ARGYLL at Cardiff Docks.
ARGYLL. Built 1939 by J.L. Thompson & Sons, Sunderland, for B.J. Sutherland & Co., Newcastle. 1940 – Assigned by MoWT to the French Government (in exile) and renamed SAINT HENRI. 1943 – Returned to B.J. Sutherland and reverted to her original name. 1954 – Sold to Jonason, Bray & Co., London, and renamed INKERI NURMINEN. 1967 – Sold to I.Tuuli, and renamed SOMERI. She was broken up at Split in 1971.
