Cup, tea and saucer
Cup and saucer, creamy white hard-paste porcelain, thickly potted, with poor translucency; cup standing on a shallow foot ring, low spreading bowl with slightly everted lip; saucer with similar foot rim, dish-shaped. Cup with double C-scroll handle and moulded thumb-piece, both pieces decorated with castellated buildings in a rocky landscape, finely painted in black camaieu, above a lower frame of gilt scrolls; cup lip and handle and saucer rim also gilded.
