Iron Age ceramic crucible
Crucible or cupel fragment in similar fabric to nos.1 and 2 but considerably thinner walled.The almost planar nature of this piece and teh dark colour of the glassy slag on the slightly concave face suggest that it may be a fragment of a ceramic cupel.
