Tyg, of red earthenware, standing on a flat base, bucket-shaped body with prominent ribbing to the lower sections and at the shoulder with lesser ribbbing to body between; three thick simple loop handles, interspersed with vertical rows of projected moulded ornament of volute scrolls; the base unglazed, the body with a rich mahogany brown manganese glaze with dark mottling, the glaze degraded on interior base.
