Figure of Cupid, pearl-glazed earthenware, square plinth, the boy standing on a small scrolled platform, and in front of low bocage branching to either side (to left part missing); painted naturalistically in enamels, naked flesh coloured apart from a yellow sash with pink outlining and tiny black sprigs, from his right shoulder to left hip, right leg forward, holding a flower in his uplifted right hand, and with a yellow basket over his left arm containing flowers and leaves, and with a replacement metal handle; brown hair dressed with flowers; further flowers applied to the bocage behind.
