Vase
Vase, cream-coloured earthenware, standing on a short square plinth with a moulded border around the sides, urn-shaped body with spreading foot and concave neck, to either side of the body twin acanthus handles curve up over the neck, foliate festoons in relief depend from the handles; the interior and exterior surfaces of the vase marbled under the glaze with shades of brown, yellow and blue in imitation of the surface of agate, the base, handles and moulded festoons left uncoloured and unglazed.
