Early Bronze Age bronze flanged axe
Long flanged axe Class 5Db, Type Arreton. Butt and mid-section of a slender bronze flanged axe with cast flanges. The sides are straight but slightly divergent. The butt is high-arched with a pinched tapering form in side view. The flanges are worn and rise 1.5mm above the septum. 47.5mm from the butt there is a median bevel on both faces.
