Roman samian bowl
There are panels above a plain chevron wreath, which is not at the lower edge of a decoration. The surviving panel has a plain triple medallion enclosing a kneeling archer, like O.268 but considerably smaller. It is probably the same as a figure from Fishbourne. Our sherd is, however, earlier than the latter.
