Cockerline & Co., Manchester. 1946 Transferred to the Ministry of Transport, managed by Alcyone Shipping & Finance Ltd. 1949 Sold to Alcyone Shipping & Finance Ltd., London, and renamed ALCYONE UNION. 1950 Sold to Ben Line Steamers Ltd., Leith, and renamed BENRINNES. 1959 Sold to Queensland Shipping Co Ltd., Leith, and renamed TWINBEAR. 1962 Renamed KUALA TRENGGANU (same owner). She was broken up at Osaka in 1963. (Mariners-List)
