Teapot and cover
Teapot and cover, hard-paste porcelain, cylindrical body with a high vertical neck that has concave sides, loop handle with a thumb rest, curved spout that has vertical ribs moulded around the bottom part, inverted flat base, flat cover with a conical finial that has a curved base; the edge of the rim, neck, base, spout and handle are decorated with gold bands, the neck is banded with a gold wheatsheaf border, the spout is decorated with gold beads, each side is painted with two birds perching on gold branches, the cover is banded with a wide gold border and a wheatsheaf border, the top half of the finial is gilded.
