Jug, grey stoneware, standing on a spreading pie-crust moulded foot, ovoid body with pronounced throwing rings at shoulder, waisted neck, flaring toward uneven lip rim; small loop handle attached to central body; clear salt-glaze to exterior with some iron-brown speckling to the mid-grey stoneware body; iron-brown wash to base beneath the glaze; plaster restoration to neck.
