Tea bowl and saucer
Weesp (fl.1759-1770)
Tea bowl and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, tea bowl standing on a foot rim tall sides tapering inwards at base; decorated in polychrome enamels, on one side with a female figure in a landscape wearing a purple bodice, yellow skirt, holding a basket, trees and bushes behind, scene standing on a purple, curved platfrom with scolling and patternwork, opposite a pink flower sprig, chocolate brown border line to lip. Saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading sides; decorated in polychrome enamels the centre with a female figure in a garden, wearing a purple skirt and green and white bodice, arm held out, scene standing on a curved, purple, scroll platfrom, chocolate brown border line to lip.
