Teapot and cover
Teapot, from a cabaret service, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain, with a green translucency; standing on a pedestal foot, bulbous ovoid shape, upright collar with an ogee profile; serpent head spout with scallop moulded base, bordered by dentil moulding; loop handle moulded with a volute enclosing a floret embossed disc, and palmettes and leaves; flat inset cover, (finial missing); painted with large scrolling foliage in gilt ending with green cornucopias, and a green and gilt swag; green and gilt detailed border pattern inside the collar and around the cover; gilt detail to spout and handle mouldings; gilt bands to foot and collar.
