Early Medieval human remains
An incomplete inhumation of an adult male aged 25-35 years (extended, supine) in a plain grave oriented west-east.
Elements present: Crania, mandible, maxilla, loose teeth, vertebrae and sacrum, ribs, L and R scapula, L and R humerus (v. developed deltoid tuberosity especially R), R ulna, L and R radius, pelvis, L and R femur, L and R patella (pathology: osteoarthritis on R patella), L and R tibia, L and R fibula, tarsals (talus, calcaneus, navicular, cuboids), metacarpals/metatarsals, phalanges, miscellaneous unidentified fragments.
A quartz 'burial pebble' (SF 266) was found in the grave.
