Under a gothic-style canopy the Blessed Virgin crowned and seated, supporting her Child; He resting his left hand on her orb. In field, to either side, a crescent enclosing an estoile, above which a fleur-de-lis. In base, under a rounded arch, carved with the salutation: AVE MARIA, the abbot kneeling in prayer, an estoile behind his head.
