Bench drill for mounting on vertical 4cm diameter pipe or tube; consists of a cast iron frame, and a vertical drill spindle driven through bevel gears by a flywheel/handwheel; pressure on chuck is exerted by a hand-operated rack; lower section of drill spindle may be disengaged by a dog clutch; also includes a ratchet assembly and base for drill stand.
