Pollard, William (1803 - 1854)
Square, dessert dish, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain with a greenish translucency; standing on a shallow foot rim with rounded spreading sides and waved edge, moulded in eight large and eight small lobes; painted in polychrome enamels; large wildflower sprigs around the edge, including strawberries, forget-me-nots, and primroses; a gilt vine pattern within a plain gilt band just below the lip.
