Bowl, covered
Bowl with cover, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a foot rim, flared sides, everted petal shaped lip, domed cover, everted petal shaped lip, shell scroll handle; decorated in Kakiemon style in polychrome enamels and gilt, the sides and cover each with two butterflies on branches and flowers opposite each other (Schmetterling pattern), spray of flowers in between, brown border to lip of bowl and cover.
