BRITSUM (7168gt) : Built 1941 as EMPIRE HALLEY by J.L. Thompson & Sons Ltd., Sunderland, for MoWT. 1942 – Allocated to the Dutch Government in London,and renamed PIETER de HOOGH, managed by H. Hogarth & Co. 1945 – Management transferred to Van Nievelt, Goudriaan & Co. 1947 – Sold to Stoomvart Maatschappij Oostzee, and renamed BRITSUM, managed by Vinke & Zonen, Amsterdam. She was broken up at Osaka, Japan in 1959.
