Jug, earthenware, standing on a squared-off foot-rim, bulbous body composed of six convex panels, with cylindrical neck flaring out to the mouth, waved lip-rim, elongated beak spout, moulded anthemion band to the shoulder, lip-rim and spout, high-loop handle with raised thumb-spur, embossed foliate moulding below the spout and handle; transfer-printed in blue with to the body and neck several groups of shells, scrolls, flowers and foliage, to the interior neck a group of shells, flowers and foliage and a group of flowers and foliage, a group of flowers and foliage to the top of the spout and the top of the handle.
