Chest of drawers
Model of a chest of drawers, red earthenware, oblong straight-sided body standing on four rouned feet, one at each corner, flat top overhanging the sides all the way round, to the front side of the body are four drawers with round disk-like handles, and a central arched recess, the lower left drawers missing and replaced by a wooden drawer painted to resemble the original, the lower right drawer broken; the top and three sides of the chest decorated with trails of white slip in the form of foliate scrolls, a border of dashes of white slip around the edge of the top, the front side of the chest decorated with white slip zig-zags and dots, the fronts of the drawers decorated with white slip dots and edged with dashes of white slip, covered all over apart from the base with a glossy yellow glaze.
