Ancient Greek pottery lamp
Earliest style of one wick lamp round bowl narrowing upwards, concave in profile - narrower at rim, open bowl seperated from wick hole only by a small rim. Circular base. Nozzle projecting from body. Inside on the bottom of bowl os a corrisponding concavity on the underside of the lamp, on underside spiral grooves formed when lamp was cut from wheel.
