Cruet
Cruet for wine, silver gilt, ewer form standing on a spreading slightly domed foot, the bowl waisted with an undulating rim rising to a pointed spout, elaborate cast scroll handle, the cover hinged at the top of the handle with a cast rococo thumbpiece and undulating to match the rim of the cruet; chased and embossed all over with rococo scroll, ribbon and shell-edge decoration and with a vine branch with grapes on the cover, the branch itself cast.
