Jug, pearl-glazed earthenware, globular form, collar neck, plain loop handle, boldly painted in enamels with two large bunches of pink roses surrounded by variously coloured flowers and green foliage, inscribed 'DAVID & JANE THOMAS' under spout' in red brown enamel above a red flower; collar with a continuous pattern of red and blue flowers; red brown enamel lines above foot, around rim, outlining lip, and in leaf strokes on back of handle
