Painted silk Friendly Society banner from Corwen, known locally as 'Clwb yr Harp'. The society was established in 1867. The front of the banner has a central image depicting a bee hive and the inscription: CORWENA / CYMDEITHAS GYFEILLGAR / MEWN UNDEB MAE NERTH. Below is the crest of Meirionnydd (Meirioneth). The reverse has a central panel depicting a scene from the Good Samaritan and the inscription: DROS A GWNA DITHAU YR UN MODD. Made by E. Riley & Co, Leeds. and inscribed. The banner is bordered with a yellow painted background decorated with crowns and crosses and has a yellow fringe on bottom.
