Mug
Mug, pale cream coloured creamware, moulded in the form of a hollow head and shoulder bust of a male figure with the shoulders forming the foot of the mug and the head forming the main body, to the front of the mug a face with eyes, nose, mouth and rolls of hair over the ears, the hair ends in a pigtail below the handle, cylindrical lip-rim with the inscription "SUCCESS TO LORD RODNEY" embossed around it, high loop handle with foliate moulding along its length; decorated with stained glazes, the shoulders painted black, the hair painted brown, splashes of a pale brown colour to the face, the exterior lip-rim and the handle painted green.
