Pardoe, Thomas (1770-1823)
Bread plate, greyish-blue hard-paste porcelain, with a slight brownish translucency, standing on a shallow foot rim, plain everted rim; decorated with an underglaze blue ground reserved with two red peonies and a red and yellow flower amid naturalistically painted foliage, the edges lined in gold, and with gilt sprays of leaves; narrow gilt band at the rim.
