Rag doll in colourful Magyar costume. Made from stuffed linen. Black felt and satin accessories, with black and red trimmed hat and black shoes. Sequins on hat, down front of skirt and around neck.
Made in about 1960 by Mrs M. Middleton Jones, Merthyr Mawr W.I. The doll was displayed at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, as part of the Federation of Women's Institutes 'Country Year Exhibition of Handicrafts', 9-29 March 1960.
