Phipps, William (Phipps works with silver and gold, hand raising and forging pieces for domestic and ecclesiastical use; cutlery, tea and coffee pots, wine goblets, candlesticks, christening and wedding presents.
Trained by apprenticeship to Michael Murray, In 1989 made a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths.
Public Collections include: Crafts Council; Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths; Fitzwilliam Museum; Birmingham City Art Gallery; Shipley Art Gallery; Sheffield City Museum; Oriel Gallery.)
Spoon, silver; oval with a plain handle widening at the tip.
