Dish, dessert
Dessert dish, thickly potted soaprock porcelain, shell-shaped form with high foot-rim and curving sides; decorated with the 'Lily' pattern, around the sides of the well panels of a stylized floral design in underglaze blue, a stylized floral spray in red enamel touched with gilt to the centre of the well, and to the underside of the rim three floral sprays in underglaze blue and red enamel, around the edge of the well and the rim a border of gilt hatching and scrolls, now worn, on an underglaze blue ground, a brown line around the edge of the rim, the shell-moulding to one side of the dish picked out in gilt.
